In This Green Field-Anne Chris
In this green field
I sit and think of you
For a little while, no need to wonder why
The road looks empty, but I can see you walking by
I feel you near me, I’m not sure where you are
Can you hear me sigh, as ladybugs fly by
Little halm of grass, that you once passed
Can you hear my voice, like this gush of wind
It’s all part of you
Hear the trees talk
They seem to know your name
Such a soothing sound
No need to explain
You’re like a shadow, floating quietly overhead
Telling me:’Hush now, good things lie ahead’
Can you hear me sigh, as ladybugs fly by
Little halm of grass, that you once passed
Can you hear my voice, like this gush of wind
It’s all part of you
Can you hear me sigh, as ladybugs fly by
Little halm of grass, that you once passed
Can you hear me sigh, as ladybugs fly by
Little halm of grass, that you once passed
Can you hear my voice, like this gush of wind
It’s all part of you part of you
part of you
